Shimmering Light: Dora Meeson and the Thames

After four years of research, the Gallery’s Curator, Kirsten McKay, has brought together a stunning collection of works by Dora Meeson from public and private collections all over Australia.
Showcasing Meeson’s impressive ability to capture the differing moods of her favourite subject, the Thames. This exhibition celebrates the pioneering spirit of this once much admired Australian artist who resided in London with her husband, portrait artist George Coates.
